International transformational gifts
WE Villages empowers communities to lift themselves out of poverty through holistic and sustainable solutions that are tailored to each community’s needs. It’s not a handout or a single solution, but a combination of key interventions that enable a community to help themselves. Our local staff work with rural villages and regional governments to support, teach, and empower people within five Pillars of Impact: Education, Water, Health, Food and Opportunity.
Support a specific international project or community.
We’ll work with you to help you fund a project or initiative where your support is needed most. Whether you’re matched with a community to support a new classroom to give children access to education, or you help fund a clean water system for a specific community, your support will give children and families the opportunity to create a bright future for themselves and the next generation.

Through our domestic programs like WE Schools, we develop and implement service-learning programs that empower students to be change-makers for life. As we move toward our 25th anniversary, together with your support we can bring new programs and resources to life, such as WE Well-being and WE Social Entrepreneurs.

Become a founding partner in empowering young leaders of tomorrow
WE is proud to be launching the WE Social Entrepreneurs (WE SE). A proud partnership with the Government of Canada, this will be Canada's first program dedicated to building social entrepreneurship skills, supporting nationwide scaling of social enterprises for young people under the age of 35. Your support will help bring to life business solutions that apply to society's greatest social challenges, making way for a new generation of social entrepreneurs.

Donor Spotlight: Thor Richardson
We are grateful to Thor Richardson for his landmark gift to launch WE Social Entrepreneurs. Innovative, dedicated and socially conscious—Thor is a young professional with a mind for business and a heart for global change. He’s co-creator of the vision behind the new WE SE, an idea that first started taking shape on a walk in Kenya’s Maasai Mara with WE co-founder Craig Kielburger back in 2017. The vision was born out of a belief that young people are the business builders of the future and that together we can empower youth in Canada to use entrepreneurship for good.
