The unique, four-step WE Schools program challenges young people to identify causes that spark their passion and empowers them to take action. Through the service-learning campaigns and curriculum, students gain an understanding of issues like hunger, poverty, access to education, diversity and inclusion, racism and black racism, the environment and sustainability, LGBTQ2IA+ , equality, human rights, Black Lives Matter, proactive mental health, and gain the skills to plan and carry out at least one local and one global action to make a difference. The program also includes educational resources and a calendar full of action campaign ideas to inspire them.
The WE Schools Kit is designed to help you empower your students with the tools to make a difference in their communities at home and around the world.
